The reality check I didnt need

Y'know, there's something disturbingly refreshing about being able to let out emotions through other people's characters without really putting those in an OOC situation.

A while ago life gave me a reality check that I really, really couldn't use, and i did the usual; sitting in that position and crying.

So what's the connection here to Nightcrawler? [X-men prequel comic spoiler]
Well, in the prequel comic, Kurt is very much in love with a girl, Amanda. Life gives shit and suddenly, out of nowhere, Amanda practically launches herself into his arms and pokes him into running away with her.
Next thing he knows he's in a prisoncell, Amanda disappears righ tbefor ehis eyes and Stryker's trying to poke him into becomming an assassin, saying he'll get Amanda back.

Then Reality came along in the form of a guard who shall not be named, and slapped Kurt upside the head with a meathammer. Amanda never ran away with him. it was all an illusion created be a certian mutan, who also won't be named, and Amanda was away witht he circus.
I think it's needless to say that he didn't take that well
